Emeris – City, Cape Town has a vacancy for a Part-Time Lecturer in the following module:

Semester 2

  • Marketing in the 21st Century

Key Performance Areas:

Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.  Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.


Job Purpose:

Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Ideal:
    • 3 year diploma or Bachelor Degree in Marketing
  • Alternatively:
    • 3 Year Diploma with Marketing or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, retail; sales supply chain or project management) to the second year level.

 

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:​

  • ​Lecturing experience in Marketing/ Entrepreneurship/ Supply Chain/ Project Management
  • Work experience as an entrepreneur/ project manager/ supply chain manager
  • Project management experience in the field of marketing or the design and development of marketing tools or plans.
