The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in Psychology, teaching and learning, research, community service, and administrative duties.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Leadership - Some Leadership in Psychology modules.
  • Teaching & Learning - Provision of theoretically informed and pedagogically sound teaching of relevant Psychology modules.
  • Research - Research and the production of accredited research outputs, linked to the completion of PhD or Doctorate.
  • Engagement - Engagement, through which knowledge and skills are used to benefit the discipline/profession and the community.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification:

M + 5 / Masters Degree in Psychology.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants must have at least a Master degree Psychology.
  • Be a South African Citizen.
  • Prospective candidates should have achieved an average of 70% or above in the preceding degree, which should be a minimum of a Master's degree.
  • Be 40 years or younger.
  • Be prepared and able to undertake and complete postgraduate studies at the doctoral level.
