UPPER PRIMARY CLASSROOM TEACHER

Location: Igwuruta-Eneka Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Pestalozzi Montessori School is seeking a dedicated, competent, and passionate Classroom Teacher with strong Mathematics skills and the ability to teach other subjects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and other subjects confidently and effectively.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain a well-organized, engaging, and disciplined classroom.
• Monitor pupils’ academic progress and provide feedback.
• Support pupils’ intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and school management.
• Follow the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to teach other subjects.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching children.
• Relevant educational qualifications in Education or a related field are an added advantage.
• TRCN registration or certification is an added advantage.
• Proximity to the school is a key consideration. Applicants who live within Igwuruta, Eneka, Rukpokwu, or nearby areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
