1. Technical / Product Management (Most Important): The candidate does not necessarily need to write code, but must understand how software is built.

The candidate must possess the ability to:

• Work with developers

• Create product requirements

• Break ideas into features

• Manage timelines

• Test products before launch

• Coordinate designers and programmers

2. AI & Automation: The candidate must possess strong working knowledge of AI tools to increase productivity, including tools such as:

• ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, Zapier, Make.com, Canva AI, Basic no-code tools Instead of relying on three separate hires

• The candidate must be able to automate repetitive work independently.

3. Educational Technology: As Pershing Hills is a Montessori/Cambridge school, the candidate must possess understanding of:

• Learning Management Systems

• Parent communication platforms

• Digital curriculum

• Student information systems

• Assessment platforms

4. Operations: The candidate must naturally think in systems and be able to address questions such as:

• “How do we make admissions automatic?”

• “How do we track school fees?”

• “Can parents receive automated updates?”

• “Can MoneyCode students enroll online?”

5. Excellent Communication: The candidate will often represent the school’s ideas to:

• Developers

• Graphic designers

• Video editors

• Curriculum writers

• Marketing agencies

The candidate must possess the ability to translate vision into clear instructions.
