The IIE Emeris, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy/ vacancies for Lecturer: Interior Design

Competencies Required:

  • Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively


Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Honours/Masters/Doctorate (NQF level 8, 9 or 10) in Interior Design Interior Architecture, or Architecture, coupled with an MBA or over three years of entrepreneurial experience (owning and operating a design business/studio).

Or

Postgraduate Diploma or Honours Degree at NQF level 8, Master’s degree at NQF level 9 in Design Management or Leadership, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or Marketing.


Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing Experience: Proficiency in teaching general, contemporary, and/or strategic management, entrepreneurship and small business management.

Work Experience: Proven track record as a general or strategic manager, entrepreneur, or marketing manager.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
  • Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday
