Mathematics/Further Maths Teacher

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics while helping students develop strong numerical, analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons.
• Use appropriate teaching strategies to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Set and mark tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Monitor and support students' academic progress.
• Provide additional academic support where necessary.
• Participate in academic and co-curricular activities.

Requirements

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE) or NCE in the relevant field.
2. TRCN registration or evidence of registration will be an added advantage.
3. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
4. Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
5. A strong passion for child development and academic excellence.
6. Good moral character and integrity.
7. A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
8. Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
9. Commitment to the academic, personal, social, and character development of students.
10. Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
