Emeris Vega School Sandton has a vacancy for a Lecturer in the following module:

• UX Design Technology 3
  

Key Performance Areas :

• Prepare for lectures based on provided content.
• Supplement content with own expertise.
• Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours.
• Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.
• Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success.
• Provide content feedback.
• Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

Job Purpose:

• Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal: 

• NQF Level 8 or higher qualification in the field of digital technology or UX Design and a portfolio demonstrating experience in creating Mixed Reality content. Knowledge of Unreal Engine will be considered an advantage.

Alternatively:

• NQF 8 or higher degree in a cognate field and a portfolio demonstrating experience in creating Mixed Reality content. Knowledge of Unreal Engine will be considered an advantage.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years industry experience in digital design or game design, including using industry standard platfroms and technology to create mixed reality simulations.
