Classroom Teachers and Assistant Class Teachers

Zera-EL Homeschool is seeking passionate, responsible, and committed educators to join its teaching team as Class Teachers and Assistant Class Teachers.

The successful candidates will contribute to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities – Classroom Teacher

Key Responsibilities – Assistant Class Teacher

1. Support the Class Teacher in planning and delivering classroom activities.
2. Assist pupils with their learning and provide additional support where required.
3. Help maintain an organised, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
4. Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
5. Assist with monitoring pupils' classwork, assignments, and general progress.
6. Provide individual or small-group support to pupils where necessary.
7. Assist with classroom resources, displays, activities, and other learning materials.
8. Support pupils during school activities, events, and routines.
9. Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other members of staff.
10. Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of pupils.

Requirements

1. A minimum of NCE, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education or a relevant field.
2. Relevant teaching experience will be an advantage.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
5. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in working with children.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. TRCN certification will be an added advantage.
