Spanish Teacher

The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

              Spanish (World Languages - LOTE)

Reports to:  District Administration

NYS Certification:  Spanish 7-12

Salary:  Per the LSCTA Contract

Location: The location will be determined once our in-house bidding is complete.

We are seeking a collaborative and student-centered Spanish Teacher who brings strong content expertise and a deep commitment to student growth. The ideal candidate demonstrates experience working with diverse learners and implements high-quality, research-based instructional practices that create fluent language learners. This educator effectively differentiates instruction to meet a wide range of learning needs while maintaining high expectations for all students. A strong understanding of executive functioning skills—such as organization, task initiation, persistence, and strategic thinking—is essential, along with the ability to intentionally embed these skills into daily instruction. The successful candidate values teamwork, partners effectively with colleagues and families, uses data to inform and adjust instruction, and consistently builds positive relationships with students. We are looking for a reflective, compassionate professional who cares deeply about kids and is committed to fostering both academic success and confidence in mathematics.The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of New York State Common Core Learning Standards for Spanish for the secondary level and will possess valid New York State certification as a teacher of Spanish.
