We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Abuja. Our mission is to provide exceptional educational support tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about fostering the emotional and psychological well-being of children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, social, or academic challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create supportive learning environments.
Develop and implement intervention strategies to enhance student well-being and academic performance.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Provide training and support to staff on mental health issues and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field desired.
Valid license or certification to practice as a school psychologist.
Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
