We're looking for a Head of Academic Design & Learning Excellence to architect the learning experience that will define every Kalvia graduate.
This is not a traditional Head of Curriculum role.
Our technical training will leverage world-class curriculum from leading partners. Your mission will be to integrate those programs into a seamless learning experience while building Kalvia's proprietary curriculum across:
• Business & Entrepreneurship
• Financial Literacy
• Customer Excellence
• Project Management
• Digital & AI Skills
• Leadership & Professional Development
You'll work with curriculum providers, industry experts, employers, manufacturers, instructional designers, and certification bodies to build what we believe will become one of Africa's leading vocational learning ecosystems.
What You'll Be Responsible For
✔ Designing Kalvia's end-to-end learning architecture
✔ Managing technical curriculum partnerships and quality
✔ Building our proprietary professional excellence curriculum
✔ Establishing competency frameworks and learning standards
✔ Driving academic quality, governance, and continuous improvement
✔ Ensuring every graduate is workforce-ready, business-ready, and future-ready
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
• Experience in curriculum design, learning strategy, instructional design, workforce development, corporate learning, or academic leadership
• A passion for transforming education and developing people
• Strong stakeholder, partnership, and project management skills
• The ability to build systems, not just courses
• A startup mindset with high standards and a bias for execution
